And end to end design challenge for an enterprise recruitment platform.
Iperium is a leader in the technology recruitment space in the UK. In 2018 it sought a refresh of all its outward and inward facing branding, websites, recruitment dashboards and marketing assets. I led this project as the senior UX designer at Beyond the Brief working with 6 developers, technology vendors and Iperium’s blue chip clients. I was responsible for:
Challenge

A total rethink of the company’s logo, branding and asssets.

A new design for the public facing version of the website.

They wanted to transition from Bullhorn to a heavily customised ATS based on an open source solution

Presenting proposed case study designs and digital marketing assets to partners such as Cisco, Nokia, Capita, Rubrik and more.

The company was preparing for a major expansion in the US and EMEA regions. They were also on the verge of agreeing long term enterprise partnerships with companies such as Capita, Nokia and Fortinet. This required a modern, professional brand presence and website that would be their main recruiting platform.
Background
Previous brand identity
This is what the old brand identity looked like. The brief was to retain elements of the ‘globe’ symbol while refreshing it and making it easy to apply to a variety of use cases.
Brand refresh
The refreshed logo paid homage to the old one in keeping the format and theme. I added another element of the identity to reflect the future of the company - one informed by the AI industry and it’s potential to dramatically transform the technology sector and beyond. This also included a new typeface.
Website
A key driver of the company’s growth would be the replacing of it’s old brochure style web presence.
New Designs
These were the result of numerous feedback gathering sessions using interviews, surveys and other UX methods such as card sorting, tree testing, design reviews and usability testing.
ATS Dashboard
Built on a heavily customised open source ATS solution, the design of the dashboard had to be simple to navigate yet accomodate all the tools internal teams needed to complete an end to end recruitment cycle.
